The aim of bingo is to complete a given pattern on you game board before any other player does. If and when this occurs, you have a ingo and are the winner.
When you play online your bingo cards are randomly selected for you, however on certain games you may have the option of choosing another game board. In most games you will get 3 or 4 cards but depending on the game type you can take as many as you like. We suggest no more than 4 as it might become difficult to follow with to many cards unless of course the numbers are automatically crossed off.
Most online bingo games have a caller or a display board with all the numbers and the game pattern will be highlighted. There are usually 75 numbers but a lot of the games have 90 numbers. It is important to pay attention to the pattern for a given game so you are always aware of which numbers you need to win a game. Some patterns are easier than others but in general all the patterns are relatively easy to follow. Some of the most basic patterns are straight lines in a horizontal, vertical and diagonal direction. Another popular game is the lackout or coverall where you have to get every number on your board.
The numbers are called out fairly quickly, usually 10 seconds apart but sometimes even quicker so make sure you are paying attention so you can mark off your numbers, some games mark them off automatically but that takes the fun out of it but on the flipside it makes the game even easier.
The game continues until one or more players have bingo, then the game is stopped and the numbers are verified. If there is indeed a winner, the prize for that game is awarded to that player but if there is more than one winner the prize is shared out equally.
Once a game is over, players get new cards, a new pattern is displayed and a new game begins.
